The security of electronically archived SAP documents
The security of electronically archived SAP documents is ensured by state-of-the-art AES-256 algorithms for encrypting.
Unique object identifiers (256-bit IDs) are encrypted in accordance with FIPS 197 specifications and prevent unauthorized access to and viewing of archived objects.
Transport protocols are protected with relevant mechanisms (SSLv3, TLS, etc.). In security sensitive environments we enable the encrypting of the file system on the server, thus preventing access for unauthorized persons.
By using replication and switching to a fail-over location we can establish the so-called backup centers, achieving a higher level of availability (HA) and security of the stored objects of the archival system, while systems on separate locations also help us avoid data loss from potential natural disasters.
