We have started developing the IMiS/wScan application which will enable users to capture paper and electronic documents of whichever origin via optical scanners, and digitize them in web applications.

The first version will support the standard document scanning formats: multi-page TIFF, PDF/A, PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, etc.
A user will be able to choose from the following scan settings: resolution, color depth, brightness, sharpness, sampling and duplex scanning.

The next version will also enable the capture of documents of electronic origin from an IMAP/POP3 mailbox, the changing of profiles during a scan, and the management of captured contents (moving, deleting, rotating, cutting out a page, etc.).

IMiS/wScan is scheduled for release in Q4 2017.
